With a heart full of joy and gratitude, we offer a glimpse of a grace-filled journey. After our Indonesian Tertians returned home on December 15th, 2025, the four of us entered a deeply enriching two-month spirituality course at the Prerana Jesuit Spirituality Center. We were blessed to join 36 sisters from 11 congregations, all united in a single purpose: to grow closer to God and deepen our vocation.
The course offered meaningful modules that touched on various dimensions of our consecrated life. Each session invited us to rediscover our call, renew our commitment, and strengthen our relationship with the Lord. It was not just an academic experience, but a true transformation of the heart.
One of the most inspiring moments was the course on Laudato Si’ by Sr. M. Sujita. We had the joy of having this course in our Shalom Sadan, the infirmary community of our elderly Sisters in Mysore. It opened our eyes to the treasure of our elderly Sisters and deepened our awareness of our responsibility to care for creation. We reflected deeply on our role as stewards of God’s creation and learned practical ways to live out this call. Through simple activities like gardening and working with nature, we experienced a profound connection with creation, one another, and God.
The sessions on Fratelli Tutti, animated by Sr. M. Sujita, were both enlightening and inspiring. These reflections challenged us to grow in universal fraternity and social friendship. In these conferences, we were challenged to cross boundaries and live as true witnesses of love, unity, and compassion in today’s world, embracing our mission as instruments of peace and hope. We also reflected on Dilexi Te, the first Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Leo XIV, which reminds us of God’s special love for the poor and marginalized and calls us to make them a priority in our lives. By serving them generously, we make God’s love tangible.
Our Tertiate concluded with a day of integration filled with prayer, reflection, and sharing. On May 9th, we will celebrate our Perpetual Profession. As we prepare for our one-month Ignatian retreat, we humbly ask for your prayers as we take this important step in our journey as Sisters of Notre Dame.
We thank God for this blessed opportunity, for each sister who journeyed with us, and all who supported us through their prayers. Truly, this has been a time of grace, growth, and personal transformation.
