On January 11, 2026, approximately 180 Sisters of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Province, Brazil, gathered in the chapel of the Notre Dame School in Passo Fundo to celebrate the significant milestones that marked 25, 50, 60, 65, 70, and 75 years of dedication and faith in consecrated religious life.

The Holy Mass, presided over by Father Fábio de Moraes, was a moment of profound thanksgiving and recognition for each jubilarian’s journey in serving God and His people. Sister Mary Ann Culpert, the superior general, and the General Councilors, Sister Marie So-Wha Kwak and Sister Maria Nonata Bezerra, were also present at the celebration. In their message, they paid tribute to the sisters with sincere words of gratitude and highlighted the religious life of the jubilarians as an expression of love, prophetic witness, and joy in the daily “yes” to Jesus Christ. Sister Vania Maria Dalla Vecchia, the provincial superior of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Province, also emphasized the value of each jubilarian’s story, built over the years through fidelity, faith, and generous service.

Following the Eucharistic liturgy, the celebration continued with a community lunch that included a commemorative cake and special tributes. The presence of the Sisters of Notre Dame from Italy as well as Peru, and Mozambique gave the event even greater meaning, reaffirming the unity and international dimension of the Congregation.

The day proved to be a true expression of gratitude, reunion, and praise by strengthening the bonds of sisterhood and by renewing the apostolic vocation that unites the Sisters of Notre Dame worldwide.
