The 2026 Provincial Assembly was held twice in the Notre Dame Community Center auditorium on Saturday, February 21st, and Monday, February 23rd, under the theme, “Fill Our Jars with Water.” At this annual event, an important agenda at the provincial and congregational levels is shared with all members, and opportunities are provided to discuss it.

The morning session opened with a warm welcome from the Provincial Superior, Sr. Marie Justina. This was followed by an inspiring talk by Fr. Peter Kim of the Daejeon Diocese, titled “To Recover Your First Zeal: Cast the Net Over the Right Side of the Boat” (John 21:6). Through profound commentaries on various Gospel passages, Fr. Kim offered the Sisters practical ways to renew their fervor as religious and rekindle the initial enthusiasm they felt when they first chose to follow Christ.

In the afternoon, Sr. Marie Justina shared insights from the 23rd Plenary Assembly of the UISG, held in Rome in May 2025 under the theme “Consecrated Life: A Hope That Transforms.” Continuing in this spirit of transformation, Sr. Marie Deophila shared moving stories from her ministry with immigrants. Her testimony provided a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by migrant laborers and invited the community to reflect on how to live in active solidarity with them.

In addition, there were presentations on provincial statistics, the provincial treasury, the implementation of provincial plans, and various announcements.

The meeting concluded with the commissioning of ministry assignments for each sister. As the Sisters of Regina Pacis Province begin this new year of 2026, we stand resolute as women disciples of Jesus—committed to preserving our original fervor, constantly filling our “water jars,” and faithfully living out our mission.
