On January 6 and 13, 2024, the Sisters of Notre Dame in Mozambique were blessed with the celebration of the perpetual profession of Sisters Maria Ema Virgínia Argumassa and Turesse Marie Linado. With gratitude and praise, we witnessed God´s continuous call as he summoned two young women to work in His vineyard.
On January 6th, the anticipation of the São Francisco de Assis community in Chimoio gave way to the joy of participating in the celebration of the perpetual consecration of a Sister. Expressions like “We have never seen anything like this in our Church” and “Only God can give us such a clear sign of His presence among us” echoed throughout the day. Bishop Antonio Juliasse Sandromo, the current Bishop of Pemba (Cabo Delgado), was honored to preside over the Eucharistic Celebration. As a priest in the Diocese of Chimoio, he had been Sister M. Ema’s mentor during her religious vocation discernment.
Throughout the celebration, the local people enthusiastically demonstrated the depth of the faith that permeates their lives. After the Holy Mass, everyone proceeded to Notre Dame School, where a festive lunch was served and where the expressions of joy and gratitude continued for Sister M. Ema’s generous “Yes” to God, as shown by her consecration of herself as a Sister of Notre Dame.
For six months, the people at the Santo Antonio Parish, Machipanda, had offered their prayers for Sister Turesse Marie Linado as they prepared for her Perpetual Profession. On the 13th, they arrived from their villages filled with joy and faith. Since the small church was unable to accommodate the more than 500 people who gathered for the ceremony, the Eucharistic Liturgy was replaced by outdoor Mass. Small tarps were erected to protect the congregation from the scorching sun. Songs, rituals, drumming, dances, and hymns in the Chimanica language marked the celebration, which was presided over by Father Francisco Sinate, Apostolic Administrator.
Sister Turesse Marie shared this message: “With the grace of God, the celebration took place in my homeland, which was very meaningful for my people and me. In a poor, simple, and humble environment, but prepared with love, I made my perpetual consecration, desiring to give myself, to consume myself until death.” After the Eucharistic celebration, the participants were invited for lunch, which was prepared by the parish community of Machipanda.
We, the Sisters in Mozambique, are deeply grateful to all the Sisters who accompanied us with their fervent prayers during this time of grace and blessing. Likewise, we would like to acknowledge the supportive presence of Sisters M. Rosa Hoelscher and Margarete Cerutti, the Passo Fundo Provincial Council members. Am 6. und 13. Januar 2024 hatten die Schwestern Unserer Lieben Frau in Mosambik die Freude, das Fest der Ewigen Profess der Schwestern Maria Ema Virgínia Argumassa und Turesse Marie Linado zu feiern. Mit Dankbarkeit und Lob haben wir Gottes Ruf erlebt, da er zwei junge Frauen zur Arbeit in seinem Weinberg berief.
Am 6. Januar ging die Vorfreude der Gemeinschaft São Francisco de Assis in Chimoio in die Freude über, an der Feier der ewigen Profess einer Schwester teilzunehmen. Ausdrücke wie “So etwas haben wir in unserer Kirche noch nie gesehen” und “Nur Gott kann uns ein so deutliches Zeichen seiner Gegenwart unter uns geben” konnte man den ganzen Tag über hören. Bischof Antonio Juliasse Sandromo, der derzeitige Bischof von Pemba (Cabo Delgado), fühlte sich geehrt, die Eucharistiefeier zu leiten. Als Priester in der Diözese Chimoio war er der Begleiter von Schwester M. Ema während ihrer religiösen Berufungsfindung.
Während der gesamten Feier zeigten die Menschen vor Ort mit Begeisterung die Tiefe des Glaubens, der ihr Leben durchdringt. Nach der heiligen Messe begaben sich alle in die Notre Dame Schule, wo ein festliches Mittagessen serviert wurde und wo die Freude und Dankbarkeit über das großzügige “Ja” zu Gott von Schwester M. Ema, das sie durch ihre Profess als Schwester Unserer Lieben Frau zum Ausdruck gebracht hat, weiterging.
Sechs Monate lang hatten die Menschen in der Pfarrei Santo Antonio, Machipanda, für Schwester Turesse Marie Linado gebetet und sich auf ihre Ewige Profess vorbereitet. Am 13. kamen sie voller Freude und Glauben aus ihren Dörfern. Da die kleine Kirche die mehr als 500 Menschen, die sich zur Zeremonie versammelt hatten, nicht aufnehmen konnte, wurde die eucharistische Liturgie durch eine Messe im Freien ersetzt. Kleine Planen wurden aufgestellt, um die Gemeinde vor der sengenden Sonne zu schützen. Lieder, Rituale, Trommeln, Tänze und Hymnen in der Chimanica-Sprache prägten die Feier, die von Pater Francisco Sinate, dem Apostolischen Administrator, geleitet wurde.
Schwester Turesse Marie teilte diese Botschaft mit: “Mit der Gnade Gottes fand die Feier in meinem Heimatland statt, was für mein Volk und mich sehr bedeutsam war. In einer armen, einfachen und bescheidenen, aber mit Liebe vorbereiteten Umgebung habe ich meine ewige Profess abgelegt, mit dem Wunsch, mich hinzugeben und mich bis zum Tod zu verzehren”. Nach der Eucharistiefeier waren die Teilnehmerinnen zum Mittagessen eingeladen, das von der Pfarrgemeinde Machipanda zubereitet wurde.
Wir, die Schwestern in Mosambik, sind allen Schwestern, die uns mit ihrem inständigen Gebet in dieser Zeit der Gnade und des Segens begleitet haben, zutiefst dankbar. Ebenso möchten wir die unterstützende Anwesenheit der Schwestern M. Rosa Hoelscher und Margarete Cerutti, Mitglieder des Provinzrates von Passo Fundo, würdigen. Zweifellos wird der Monat Januar 2024 immer einen besonderen Platz in unserer Erinnerung sowie im Leben und in der Sendung unserer Gemeinschaften einnehmen.[:pt]
Nos dias 6 e 13 de janeiro de 2024, as Irmãs de Notre Dame em Moçambique foram agraciadas com a celebração dos votos perpétuos das Irmãs Maria Ema Virgínia Argumassa e Turesse Marie Linado. É com gratidão e louvor que testemunhamos o chamado contínuo de Deus, que convoca jovens do seio do povo para trabalhar na sua vinha.
No dia 6, a expectativa da comunidade São Francisco de Assis, em Chimoio, deu lugar a alegria de participar da celebração da consagração de uma Irmã. Expressões como “Nunca vimos coisa semelhante em nossa Igreja” e “Só Deus pode nos dar um sinal tão evidente de sua presença no meio de nós” ecoaram durante todo o dia. Dom Antonio Juliasse Sandromo, atual Bispo de Pemba (Cabo Delgado), sentiu-se honrado por presidir a Celebração Eucarística, ele que, quando Sacerdote na Diocese de Chimoio, havia sido o incentivador vocacional da Irmã M. Ema.
A celebração foi enriquecida por rituais e símbolos típicos da rica cultura moçambicana, com a ativa participação do povo local, demonstrando o vigor de sua fé que permeia suas vidas. Após a santa Missa, todos se dirigiram à Escola Notre Dame, onde foi servido um almoço festivo e onde se deu continuidade às manifestações de alegria e gratidão pelo generoso “Sim” da Irmã M. Ema a Deus, consagrando-se como Irmã de Notre Dame.
No dia 13, na Paróquia Santo Antonio de Machipanda, o povo, que há 6 meses vinha dedicando suas preces e se preparando para o momento significativo da Profissão Perpétua da Irmã Maria Turesse, chegou de suas aldeias, com alegria e fé palpáveis. A pequena igreja, incapaz de acomodar as mais de 500 pessoas que se reuniram para a cerimônia, deu lugar a uma Missa ao ar livre, com pequenas lonas estendidas para proteger do sol escaldante. Cantos, rituais, batuques, danças e hinos na língua Chimanica, marcaram essa celebração que foi presidida pelo Padre Francisco Sinate, Administrador Apostólico.
A Irmã Turesse Marie compartilhou sua mensagem com estas palavras: “Com a graça de Deus, a celebração aconteceu na minha terra natal, o que foi muito bom para o meu povo e para mim. Num ambiente pobre, simples e singelo, mas preparado com amor, fiz a minha consagração perpétua, desejando me doar, me gastar e me consumir até à morte.” Após a celebração Eucarística, os participantes foram convidados para um almoço de confraternização, preparado pela comunidade Paroquial de Machipanda.
Expressamos nossa profunda gratidão a todas as Irmãs que nos acompanharam com suas fervorosas orações durante este tempo de graça e bênção. 1월 6일, 쉬모이오 상 프란치스코 데 아씨스 공동체의 기대는 한 수녀의 종신 서원식에 참여하는 기쁨에 자리를 내어 주었습니다. “우리는 우리 교회에서 이 같은 일은 한 번도 본 적이 없다”거나 “하느님만이 우리 가운데 계신 그분 현존에 대한 이토록 명확한 표징을 주신다”는 표현들이 하루 종일 메아리쳤습니다. 펨바(카보 델가도)의 현 주교인 안토니오 쥴리아쎄 산드로모 주교는 미사를 집전하는 영예를 누렸습니다. 쉬모이오 교구 사제로서 그는 마리아 에마 수녀가 수도 성소를 식별할 때 수녀의 멘토였습니다.

6개월간 마시판다의 산토 안토니아 본당 신자들은 투레쎄 마리 리나도 수녀의 종신 서원을 준비하면서 수녀를 위한 기도를 봉헌해 왔습니다. 13일, 그들은 기쁨과 신앙으로 가득한 마을에서 모여 왔습니다. 작은 교회가 예식을 위해 모여든 5백 명을 수용할 수가 없어서 미사는 대신 야외 미사로 진행되었습니다. 이글대는 햇살에서 회중을 보호하기 위한 천막들이 세워졌습니다. 노래와 예식, 드럼, 춤, 쉬마니카 언어로 된 성가가 미사의 특징을 이루었는데 이는 사도직 행정가인 프란치스코 시나테 신부가 집전했습니다.
투레쎄 마리 수녀는 이런 소감을 나누었습니다. “하느님 은총으로 제 고향에서 서원식이 이루어졌는데 제 고향 사람들과 제게는 너무나 뜻깊은 일입니다. 가난하고 단순하고 소박하지만 사랑으로 준비된 환경에서, 저는 제 자신을 봉헌하고 죽을때까지 소진하고자 하는 갈망으로 종신 서원을 했습니다.” 미사 후, 참석자들은 마쉬판다의 본당 공동체가 마련한 점심 식사에 초대되었습니다.
우리 모잠빅 수녀들은 이 은총과 축복의 시간에 열렬한 기도로써 우리를 동반해 준 모든 수녀님들에게 깊이 감사드립니다. 마찬가지로 파소 푼도 참사인 로자 횔셔 수녀, 마가레테 세루티 수녀의 지지해주는 현존에도 감사하고 싶습니다. 말할 것도 없이 2024년 1월은 언제나 우리의 기억과 공동체의 삶과 사명에서 특별한 자리를 차지할 것입니다.[:id]

Dengan rasa syukur dan pujian, kami menyaksikan panggilan Tuhan yang tak henti-hentinya ketika Ia memanggil dua wanita muda untuk bekerja di kebun anggur-Nya.
Pada tanggal 6 Januari, penantian komunitas São Francisco de Assis di Chimoio memberikan jalan bagi sukacita untuk berpartisipasi dalam perayaan kaul kekal seorang Suster.
