This year’s pilgrim season at the Motherhouse is coming to its end. Every year we host a group from Brazil, Korea, India, and this year from the United States. On September 22 seven sisters from India arrived and were with us until October 6. Sisters Mary Rupa, Mary Joyce, Mary Harshita, Mary Manjusha, Mary Savita, and Mary Jessy were from the Patna Province. Sister Mary Daisy was from the Bangalore Province. They were happy to be at the Motherhouse on our Foundation day, October 1st and did an Arati during the Holy Mass.
Shortly after our sisters from India left we welcomed seven sister from the U.S. on October 10 – Sisters Mary Julie Boehnlein and Mary Bernadine Janci from Chardon, Sisters Mary Rita Geoppinger and Pamela Mae Geiger from Covington, Sister Mary Maxine Young from Toledo, and Sisters Mary John Shin and Mary Angela Lee from Thousand Oaks. The sisters will be with us until October 21 when they return to the U.S. It has been quite a season of comings and goings here at the Motherhouse and always a joy to welcome sisters from around our SND world knowing that we share in one heart, one hope, and one mission!
