On May 17, Sr. Marie Bernadetta and Sr. Maria Laurentia from the Regina Pacis province, South Korea, were welcomed by the Sisters of the Casa Madre community. Both sisters are grateful and delighted to have the wonderful opportunity to make the congregational pilgrimage and experience our internationality in Casa Madre community.
Besides visiting Casa Madre, the sisters are busy exploring the holy places of this ancient city. It has been a long-time dream of one of the sisters to see St. Peter’s and the Sistine chapel. The sisters have been in awe of all the magnificent art, architecture, and the faith of the early Church. They have been on the go every day since their arrival in Rome. They marvel at the energy they have on awakening to another day of their pilgrim journey- all is God’s grace.
The two pilgrim sisters will leave on May 26 to join the other six Korean sisters who will participate in the Spirituality Renewal Workshop and Retreat in Gerleve, Coesfeld, until June 16, 2014. They are anticipating another grace-filled experience journeying deeper into our SND Spirituality.
