Missioned to Incarnate The Love Of Our Good And Provident God
Sisters of Notre Dame in Holy Trinity Delegation of Papua New Guinea had greatly and attentively participated in the Spirituality Renewal workshop which theme titled, “Missioned to incarnate the love of our good and provident God”. The Sisters were twelve (12) in number, so they called themselves as 12 disciples of Jesus. This renewal was facilitated by Sister Mary Lillian (Superior), Sister Marie Bernadette (Junior Directress) and Sister Mary Gina (Postulant Directress).
The renewal was first of its kind where the three facilitators are the Sisters from the group. It used to be somebody outside from group usually facilitates workshops or direct retreats but this time our own Sisters. It was a tearing moment for all of us Sisters to recognized that only Papua New Guinean Sisters and no more missionaries in our group now. It is a transition period for us and it is the time to feed our own selves and keep on going. The Spirit of God touches each Sister and all of them were opened and shared with all their hearts and with tears.
The workshop went very well, Sisters really participated in it. The Spirit of the Lord was present and every body felt it. One of the Sister express that this renewal is the best of all and every one in the group expressed that also. All the Sisters in PNG thanked Sister Mary Kristin and the team in Rome for preparing this renewal.
