“The dear God has always taken care and will certainly continue to do so,” said Sr. Maria Aloysia, SND, our foundress.
On July 1, 2024, we, Srs. Mary Meltina, Ajeeta, Premlata, Salomi, Sonia, Anisha and Manindra began our Teacher Training Course (TTC) Program with an opening prayer service. At the conclusion of the prayer, Sr. Mary Alice shared a short yet inspiring message on the essence of Notre Dame Education.
The TTC Program consists of a diverse range of subjects including languages, school subjects, methods, art, music, care for creation and practice teaching.
We were privileged to learn under the guidance of excellent and highly experienced Notre Dame educators who played a crucial role in transforming us into dedicated and competent teachers. Their dedication, professionalism, and exemplary conduct served as an inspiration for all of us.
We learned essential skills such as tackling challenges, facing failures, assisting the underprivileged, thinking analytically, standing up for justice, and enhancing our proficiency in English speaking and writing. What impressed us most was how deeply Notre Dame Education is grounded on its four guiding principles.
We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Mary Tessy, who oversees this program, and every sister who contributed to this special training. Their guidance has been invaluable in our journey of growth and learning.
Sr. Mary Manindra, SND
