Around Christmas, seven-year-old children at Notre Dame Kindergartens in Korea perform a theatrical play about the Nativity story. This is the children’s present for baby Jesus.
Osan Notre Dame Kindergarten staged a performance in the form of a musical show on Friday, December 20, 2024. The children chose their own roles and, for a month, practiced playing musical instruments and acting with the help of their family members. For rehearsals, they invited the younger children of the kindergarten and elderly residents of the senior center next to the kindergarten. On the day of the actual performance, their parents were invited.
This year each of the 18 children acted in three or even four roles. We were very proud of them as they gave their best, happily practicing and preparing for the day without bickering or hesitation.
We know that our little ones’ performance was a true Christmas gift to baby Jesus.
