ND Team for Catechetical Resources of Regina Pacis Province has made our good God known to many groups. They include children preparing for First Communion, their parents, the RCIA group, parishioners preparing for confirmation, and catechists using catechesis and various programs. The team consists of three Sisters: Sr. Marie Paulita who takes full charge of writing textbooks; Sr. Marie Michell and Sr. Marie Faustine who give training programs, retreats, and education sessions.

Starting in 2014, this ministry has constantly responded to requests from parishes for catechesis, retreats, and education programs. This year we have had more requests from dioceses and parishes. We did First Communion resources sessions for 7 dioceses, catechesis classes led by one of the team members for 6 parishes and 1 institute, Pre-First Communion education programs for parents, and a family retreat for 45 parishes. ‘A Catechesis School’ for the faithful who want to know God better and live according to His way, is operated online, through which we meet many believers from various regions and a wide age range.

The spirituality of the Trinity as a community is the core of our catechetical books. These books encourage people to form loving communities modeled on the Trinity in their families, churches, and other communities.

The pre-first communion education program for parents and a Family catechesis program reminds people that the First Communion is a chance to renew the faith not only for the child but the whole family by further nurturing it throughout life. We had a beautiful experience seeing this aim being fulfilled in a parish where we had given these sessions. Active engagement of children as well as parents after the First Communion has revitalized the entire parish. Such a God experience where priests, religious, and parishioners build a community of love and harmony makes us feel the Trinity’s presence. This is the way we proclaim our good God through the catechesis and the expression of our love for God and the church.
