On Saturday, May 9, in the provincial house in Incheon, the sisters conducted a May Crowning service as the evening prayer. Since the whole world has been suffering from the impact of Covid-19, we held it as a rather quiet time with meditations on Mary’s life, praying for the difficulties of our world.
We prayed the rosary while images of Mary’s life were projected on the wall, and we offered Mary our intentions and prayers on small papers shaped like calla lilies.
By singing “Salve Regina” with one heart, accompanied by two lay women who serve in the kitchen, we closed this celebration with desires to imitate our Mother Mary, who accompanied Jesus Christ, pondering on God’s will for her whole life.
