Leadership development is always a major challenge for any organization. To address this need, the Holy Cross Province organized a Management Development Program (MDP) aimed at leaders of the Notre Dame Network. The program is structured into four stages of five days each, totaling 180 hours of training.
The first stage of the program was held at Casa Santa Cruz, in Passo Fundo, with the theme: Charism, Spirituality, and Mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Sister Arací Maria Ludwig led this stage, which covered fundamental aspects of the Congregation’s spirituality and mission.
The MDP was designed to develop and enhance managerial skills. It addresses fundamentals, methods, and practices of governance, strategies, and management that broaden systemic vision and foster the growth of the institutions linked to the Notre Dame Network.
The program includes 28 participants, comprising lay leaders from the field of Education and Sisters who minister in Education, Social Assistance, Healthcare, and the temporary professed sisters. The focus of the MDP extends beyond the professional practice of the managers, to encompass formation within the Notre Dame spirit and mission, promoting the personal and spiritual growth of those who take on the challenge of leading the various institutions within the network.
