Let us sing a song to our Father,
as we walk along to our Father,
He is always there, God is taking gentle care,
God is love beyond compare God is good.

The song written by Sister Melannie Svaboda about a quote of our spiritual mother Saint Julie has come true, as we said YES to our provident God. We, Sisters Mary Selvi, Lourde Mary, Swarnalata, Premalata and Triveni raise our voices to sing God’s faithful love and provident care in our lives. In the midst of the deadly Corona virus, God has been close to us, taking gentle care and His love is beyond compare. We are speechless for what the Lord has done in our lives, for God is good all the time.

During the one-month retreat our beloved Lord made us aware of His unconditional love. Jesus reminded us that, He has Loved us first and has chosen us out of the world to bear fruit that lasts. We, the Five Wise Virgins are well prepared by the Lord, to step into this Covid world. We may be called Corona Sisters but we are immuned by the power and strength of the Lord to love and serve Him, for we are called, blessed, broken and sent by the same Lord.

God our Father received us as we made Perpetual Profession of Vows, on May 12, 2021. The celebration was held at the Provincial House at 6:30 am. As we processed during the entrance hymn to celebrate the Eucharist, we felt that we were the most beloved daughters of God with whom He is well pleased. Most Rev Archbishop Peter Machado celebrated the Holy Mass and the “solemn ceremony” for us. Archbishop’s homily inspired us, strengthened us and challenged us to face the life ahead of us to live for God alone.

Today is a great opportunity for us to express our gratitude to God and for all the people who have helped and blessed us to reach this stage of committing our life totally to God. We are especially grateful to our family members, our Congregation, Sisters, friends and all who came in to our lives on the road of our pilgrim journey to God. On this special occasion, we missed the presence of many people specially our parents. Nevertheless, we did experience their presence in spirit and prayer as the occasion was live streamed. Even in the midst of Covid, the Sisters in the Provincial House made the day a memorable one for us. The whole day was a day of joy filled with graces and blessings.

As we move forward to become the representative of the image and likeness of God in the mission we are entrusted with, we join with St. Ignatius of Loyola and pray: “Lord give me your Love and Grace that is enough for me” so that we go into the world “to make gold out of stones” as expressed by our foundress Sister Maria Aloysia.
