It was a wonderful moment on Saturday afternoon, the Sisters in the Busesa community gathered for a time of recollection. The recollection material was prepared by the Sisters from Regina Pacis Province, Incheon. The room was nicely decorated and well arranged, with beautiful flowers, a framed picture of the Divine Mercy, a Sacred Heart picture, and the statues of St. Julie, our spiritual mother, with a burning candle in front of us. These images represent to us that Jesus himself is present with us. The ambience of recollection brought us deeper into the mood of our reflection.
The theme of our recollection was “Be the Love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.” Sisters were in deep reflection on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the heart that lived for us, pierced for us, and bled for us. We had a wonderful moment, reflecting on the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the deep heart full of love that yearns for us, combined with St. Julie’s spiritual legacy.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus inspired us to go out into the world with the mind of Jesus Christ and to become love itself. The reflection invited us to have faith and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by sharing God’s compassionate love with those who are poor and marginalized.
After the reflection, the sisters united their hearts and sang the song,” Sacred Heart of Jesus, I put my trust in you.”
When the recollection ended, the Sisters shared a special meal as suggested by Regina Pacis Province. The meals that were shared were rice, spaghetti, beef, mushrooms, and greens. While preparing and sharing the meal, the Sisters were filled with much joy of being united with our Sisters in Regina Pacis Province. All the Sisters enjoyed the food, and they were very happy and grateful to our Sisters in Regina Pacis Province for preparing such wonderful material for recollection and for sharing the meal, which could be taken by all of us.
