On May 25, 2025, Colégio Santa Teresinha, in Taquara, RS, Brazil, opened its doors for the 30th alumni reunion. At 9 a.m. the school’s entrance was filled with smiles, hugs, and joyful greettings from former students who hadn’t seen each other in years.
A special Mass followed in the school chapel in thanksgiving for the 175th Anniversary of the Sisters of Notre Dame. The theme “Pilgrims of Gratitude and Hope” permeated the entire celebration, which was thoughtfully prepared by the Sisters of Notre Dame. A family of current students led the liturgy and hymns, making the event even more memorable and marking it with faith and heartfelt praise.
After the Mass, the celebration continued in the school gymnasium, where alumni enjoyed a delicious lunch together. To add to the festive spirit, the school band performed a special performance that moved everyone with its talent.
The entire day was filled with joy, cherished memories, and meaningful encounters — a true celebration of friendship and the deep connection which the former students have with Colégio Santa Teresinha. Congratulations to the president of the Alumni Association and their entire team for organizing the unforgettable event, which strengthens the bonds among all those who have been — and continue to be — a part of Santa Teresinha’s story.
