Regina Pacis Province holds a bazaar every year with the name “Azalea Festival” on May 5th which is “Children’s Day.” The 28th bazaar of this year had the theme “Go and Do the Same,” and enjoyed another success with about 2,000 visitors and good weather. Its profits will be used for the missions and the development of Bakmun secondary school. (This diocesan school is being built in Incheon.) Sisters from each local community prepare for this event throughout the year by carving candles and making a variety of craftwork or food items. These preparations are not easy but during this the sisters experience a gracious time of provident care and love of community. This bazaar enriched with some 50 items including donations and sisters’ craftwork along with various food items has become a popular festival much visited by a great number of catholic and non-catholic local people.
