SND USA employees decided that they will embrace goals that reflect a partnership with the sisters to engage in sustainable lifestyle practices. As a result, each department developed a goal that is responsive to the chapter’s goal of Adoption of Sustainable Lifestyles.

Facilities

  • Focusing on the best use of the many buildings across the province, investing in a smaller fleet of hybrid cars.
  • Toledo is recycling all they can and has installed motion sensors and updated lighting with more efficient fixtures.
  • Housekeeping in Chardon is using recipes for cleaning solutions made from natural
  • Employees are reusing or repurposing materials. Their mantra: Repair when possible rather than buy
  • In Chardon the team continues to be selective in how much of the grass is mowed.

Finance
