Regina Pacis Province, Incheon, conducts various programs that young women may discover and nurture the call to a religious vocation. In July there was a silent retreat on vocation discernment under the theme of “all to Jesus through Mary” attended by seven young women from different cities.
While introducing themselves and sharing the motivation to participate in the retreat at the beginning of the program, they realized Jesus called each of them to the right place at the right time according to their circumstances.
Having started the three days of retreat in gratitude, they reflected on Mary’s belief and pondering heart, her trust and joy in God, and her dedication. They attended a lecture, meditations, a one-on-one meeting, community prayers, Mass, and adorations. Taking a walk and enjoying quietness and peace were naturally a part of the retreat. At the end of the retreat, they shared their longing to become Jesus’ disciples who love and follow him like Mary.
What a blessed journey where we listened to, encouraged, and accompanied young women who wish to come closer to the Lord! We hope that many will respond to this beautiful and grace-filled religious vocation.
