The Close of the 2016 General Chapter

The Chapter members gathered one last time in the Chapter Room on Saturday, October 22. All participated in an integration process for the first hour of the morning allowing time to reflect on the Chapter experience in a contemplative way. The Discernment Groups met to share the fruits of the prayer before sharing in one last plenary session. The morning ended with Sister Mary Kristin’s closing remarks and a time of giving thanks. Sister Mary Kristin expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the General Chapter. In particular, special thanks were expressed to Sister Maria Anneliese and the Sisters of the Coesfeld Province for all they did to make this historic occasion possible. At the conclusion of the morning session the Chapter members voted to close the General Chapter 2016.
