“Today marks a significant day of grace in the history of the congregation as we welcome Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda together to form the Holy Spirit General Delegation. We accept this new gift of life and growth from our good and provident God in loving gratitude and with much hope.” (Installation Service)

On the Feast of Pentecost, May 24, 2015, the leadership team for the new general delegation of the Holy Spirit was installed in a special liturgy celebrated in Arusha, Tanzania.  Sister Mary Kristin and Sister Mary Sreeja from the Generalate were present to pray with the new leadership and the sisters for God’s blessings on this new East African unit in the Congregation.

Gratitude was expressed for the generous service given by Sister Mary Mukti and her council, those in provincial leadership in Patna, Covington and California during the past years and for all our Sisters who have been in any way a part of this new beginning. Blessings and prayers were said for the 61 professed sisters who will continue to build up the Congregation in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. In particular there were special prayers for the new leadership team: Sister Mary Roshini, Delegation Superior, Sister Mary Colette, First Assistant, Sister Mary Sawmya, Councilor, Sister Mary Elizabeth, Councilor, and Sister Mary Immaculate, Councilor.
