The call of God is like a pearl that is not found by everyone in the world but by the chosen people. We, the postulants of the Sisters of Notre Dame, would like to thank Sr. M. Alice and Sr. M. Chetana for accepting us as postulants of Notre Dame. Sr. M. Alice gave us a very inspiring message, encouraging us to take every step by trusting in our Good God. She told us to pray always and to believe that God loves us and that we are precious to Him.

During the three days of preparation through the guidance of Sr. M. Rajani, we became more aware of how precious we are in the sight of God and of the precious gifts God has for us. The first precious gift of God to us is our “LIFE” and then our “VOCATION”, a gift within a gift. We heard about the call of Abraham, Gideon, Jeremiah, and St. Paul.  All of them were called in different ways and for a unique purpose. We believe that Jesus has called us, too, in a different way and for a unique purpose. God always chooses the least one and strengthens her as God strengthened Gideon. We believe that there are always a promise and blessings in a call.

During these three days, we became closer to God and ready to commit our life to God.  Our entrance day was on the 6th of July 2024. On that day we were very happy because we took one more step in our religious life. The prayer service conducted by Sr. M. Jyotitya and Sr. M. Renu was very meaningful. The theme of the prayer was “WRAPPED IN GOD’S LOVE”. We were really touched by the prayers and all the love, care, and prayerful support of our dear sisters. We thank Sr. M. Jyotitya for making this day a very memorable one. We thank the Lord for planting us in the field of Notre Dame. Thank you, Lord, for your continuous love and support.  Jesus, as we have taken this step in our religious life, we ask you to walk with us on our journey, so that we may not turn back but live our whole life for you alone. Thank you.
