Pastor paroki telah meminta mereka untuk mendidik anak-anak perempuan di daerah pekerja &#8216;De Bult&#8217;. Helmond adalah kota pabrik yang sedang berkembang dan tentu saja di sana banyak anak-anak.<\/p>\n<p>Sekitar tahun 1970, para suster bekerja di tiga paroki dan mengajar di empat sekolah dasar, tiga taman kanak-kanak, satu sekolah menengah umum dan satu sekolah menengah kejuruan. Para suster juga mendampingi kaum muda di luar sekolah: khususnya anak-anak perempuan di daerah pabrik, juga mendampangi mereka di tempat bermain di daerah Bakel, dan mendampingi anak-anak sesudah sekolah.<\/p>\n<p>Orientasi social selalu menjiwai karya-karya para suster. Misalnya, dalam Perang DuniaII mereka bekerja di dapur umum, memasak untuk berates-ratus anak. Selama minggu-minggu terakhir masa perang, para suster menawarkan biara sebagai tempat pengungsi.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17980\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17980\" style=\"width: 319px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17980\" src=\"https:\/\/snd1.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Tegelen_2.jpg\" alt=\"The association for factorygirls\" width=\"319\" height=\"230\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17980\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Perkumpulan Remaja Putri Pabrik<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Jumlah suster di biara bertambah. Di samping para suster yang bekerja di sekolah, ada juga mereka yang mendukung di komunitas. Sekitar tahun 1970, penghuni komunitas berjumlah 30 suster!<\/p>\n<p>Karena penguninya menyedikit para suster harus pindah. Sekarang yang tinggal hanya Sr. Dominique (82 thn) dan Sr. Charitas (77 thn). &#8220;Di Belanda sudah tidak ada panggilan\u201d, kata Sr. Charitas, &#8220;tetapi Kongregasi berkembang di tempat-tempat lain. Saya senang bahwa kongregasi tetap hidup.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sr. Dominique juga merasa puas: \u201cApa yang telah dilakukan baik adanya; dan kebaikan tetap dikenang!\u201d Syukur adalah ungkapan kami dalam merayakan karya bakti para suster selama 90tahun di Helmond.
