First Religious Profession in Mozambique

With our hearts filled with joy, we, the newly professed, Sister Mariana Mario Recai, Sister Esther Marie Moises Eduardo, and Sister Julieta Maria Orlando Januário, have many reasons to rejoice in the Lord for the marvels he has done for us. The celebration of our first religious profession was on June 24, 2017, at Notre Dame Mwana Une Rukariro School in Chimoio, Mozambique.

With the Lord´s grace, we pronounced our Yes in the presence of the Sisters of Notre Dame in Mozambique, our diocesan bishop, Dom João Carlos Nunes, other priests, parishioners and guests, and some family members and friends.

We feel deep gratitude to all who have been and still are part of our journey of following Jesus, and we ask God to bless them abundantly.

We ask God’s blessings on our journey with the desire to go on “drinking of the water from the Source of Life and nourish all creation.”
