On June 10, 2017, seven Novices from Africa responded to the Lord’s call and made their First Profession during a solemn Eucharistic celebration in the International Novitiate, Njiro, Arusha. Four Sisters from Uganda, Sisters Maria Juliet, Sarah Marie, Mary Hellen, Mary Lilian; two from Tanzania, Sister Mary Romana, Sister Mary Magdalena; and one from Kenya, Sister Mary Petronilla.

All of them had their family members, parish associates and neighborhoods represented. It was a joy-filled day with much singing, dancing and a sumptuous meal. The newly professed Sisters were glad to have the presence of Sister Mary Sreeja and Sister Maria Nonata from the Generalate, Rome, for this auspicious occasion.
