After celebrating the Liturgy of Passion Sunday on 20^th March in Santa Maria del Popolo, fifteen Sisters from the Motherhouse climbed the hill to the Borghese Gardens.

We walked inside the park and contemplated on the way trees, plants, rocks, soil, water, birds, and wind teach us about our broken relationships, not only with our fellow human beings, but also with the rest of creation.  We carried many of the current world intentions as we walked with Jesus.

We prayed with over a hundred other men and women religious in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Sr. Mary Patricia Dorobek, our JPIC coordinator, along with Fr. Felix Mushobozi, prepared the text of the Stations of the Cross in the spirit of Laudato Sí. To enhance the experience in God’s creation, we had spectacular weather.
