The Great Move, Kenya

1^st July, 2015 was the big move to Kenya and our new Delegation Centre.  The Sisters in our new Delegation Centre Community were so welcoming.  The prayer service that evening highlighted the historical event of opening our Delegation Centre in its new location in Kenya.  Sister Mary Roshini, the new Delegation Superior hung a special Holy Spirit plaque that was given by Sister Mary Mukti, the former Delegation Superior.  It holds a special place in our chapel and is a constant reminder of God’s particular blessing on our Holy Spirit General Delegation and the Divine Energy that will go forth to all 60 sisters in our Delegation.

Sister Mary Annete worked feverishly to pack the 43 boxes, two file cabinets, the large copy machine and two computer tables that would be transported to our new site.  Since becoming a General Delegation, the site in Syokimau, Nairobi, Kenya is more central between Uganda and Tanzania.  It was no easy move, but with the help of a man who is used to moving things across the border of Tanzania into Kenya, all will go well.  We expect everything to arrive by next week.  The next challenge will be unpacking everything and setting up the office and archives in the new office space.  Feel welcomed when you come to visit our new Delegation Centre.
