What We Do

As Sisters of Notre Dame we work in multiple fields in countries around the world.  Though we have traditionally been present in the classroom, our ministries today find us out among the people of God in other areas of society. We remain involved in education but also are active in pastoral services, in health care, in hospice work and counseling, in work with the handicapped, in youth ministry, in communications,  in day cares and care for the elderly. We are present in the UN and work in JPIC affiliations. We are in missions, at home and abroad. We are spiritual directors and retreat directors. We respond to the needs of our times.
