Our 5^th Africa Conference this year will be hosted in Arusha, Tanzania.  Our theme for this Conference is “SND Vision for Africa.”  Needless to say, everyone is busy planning, discussing. arranging and involving all channels of communication so that everyone that will be participating will be fully informed.  Truly, we are on fire for mission!

We are welcoming about 60 participates for this Conference including some members from General Team:  Sisters Mary Kristin, Alcidia, Sreeja, Shauna and Gina Marie as well as the Provincial Superiors of the Provinces who feed into our International Novitiate.  You can image all the excitement and planning going on and we invite you to be part of our celebration, yes we call it a celebration of new life and new hope for the future of Africa.

One of our focus area will be planning for our next step in 2015 in becoming a General Level Delegation with a Major Superior and joining with Uganda.  We will also be planning for a common tertianship programme here in Africa and looking realistically at our Units, current realities, membership and how we are growing into a vibrant SND community on the face of the African Continent.

Our 36 novices and postulants from Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya will be our powerhouse of prayer support during our meetings and have a wonderful opportunity toward the end to meet and greet so many in their International Congregation.
