Notre Dame: Our Guide and Protector, Mysore, Karnataka, India

“Ave Maria gratia plena Dominus tecum benedicta tu”  was the song sung by the choir of Notre Dame School, Mysore, on our dear Mother Mary’s Day!  On 26^th July, we had the newly constructed Mother Mary’s grotto was blessed by Rev. Msgr. Marie Joseph, N.S, the Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, Hinkal, Mysore, who invoked Mary’s visible presence in our premises.  At our entrance of the campus, Mary stands smiling and head held high to welcome warmly all those who come in.

We owe our gratitude to Sister Mary Sandhya, our Provincial Superior,  for her valuable suggestion and her presence to pray with us on this auspicious day.  As a gesture of veneration, Sister lit a candle and placed it at the grotto.  We had the entire school around the grotto to witness and to receive blessings from Mother Mary. Congratulations to Sister Mary Kiran who looked into the details of the construction to make it simple and attractive.
