Conference Participants Visit Assisi and Enter Retreat

[divider /]The Spirituality Renewal Workshop was completed on Wednesday, December 4. The following day was a free day for the conference participants giving them time to once more visit their favorite sites in the city before entering into retreat, the third week of the Spirituality Renewal. Since a pilgrimage to Assisi was planned for December 6, St. Nicholas visited the Mother House on the evening of December 5.

The conference participants and Mother House community enjoyed a day at Assisi praying at the tomb of St. Francis and St. Clare while enjoying the sites of the Umbrian country side.

On the morning of December 7, the conference participants entered into a seven day retreat directed by Sister Mary Kathleen Burns from the Thousand Oaks Province. The retreat is designed to give the sisters an opportunity to reflect more on the topics presented during the past two weeks of the renewal. A morning session during which the sisters are given input for their prayer and reflection that day is presented to the whole group. Please continue to keep our formators in prayer during this time of integration and renewal.
