Brazilian Pilgrims in Rome, Italy

PDF Download

On Friday, April 28, 2017, the sisters at the Motherhouse community gladly welcomed four sisters from the Passo Fundo province and three sisters from the Canoas province, Brazil who are enjoying the congregational pilgrimage this year. The enthusiastic pilgrims have already begun their pilgrimage to the center of the church visiting some of the magnificent basilicas and historical sites. Sisters Maria Nonata and Maria Lory Inês from the Motherhouse are their competent guides.

They are experiencing some glimpses of our International congregation as it is reflected in the Motherhouse community and meeting our language students as well as the members of Emmaus House from Germany, Korea, Indonesia, and the US.

It is wonderful to have the Brazilian pilgrims with us and we assure them of our prayerful support as they continue their pilgrimage tracing the roots of our Congregation in Germany and the Netherlands in the coming weeks.
