The blessing ceremony of Notre Dame Pre-University College was held on December 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. This new venture commemorates the twenty-five years of service to the people of Mysore. The day was graced by the presence of the guests, religious priests and sisters, parents, students, and well-wishers.   A ceremonial welcome was accorded to the guests by the school band as Rev. Dr. K. A. William, the Bishop of Mysore, arrived at the campus.  The bishop unveiled the plaque commemorating the official opening of the new building. Sr. Mary Sandhya, the provincial superior of the Visitation Province, inaugurated the pre-university block by cutting the ribbon.

The most reverend bishop, assisted by the priests present, conducted the prayer service invoking blessings upon the institution. They processed around the building to bless the edifice and to invoke blessings of the Almighty on all those who will seek knowledge from this institution.

The felicitation program began with a prayer dance by our nimble dancers, which was followed by lighting of the lamp. Sr. Mary Julie, the principal of Notre Dame School and Pre-University College, addressed the gathering. She acknowledged the effort of all the people who helped to make this dream a reality. The dignitaries, the chief architect and his associates, sisters, and all those who directly or indirectly stood by to make this building a reality were recognized with utmost honor and gratitude. The program ended with the hope and the prayer that the four cornerstones of Notre Dame educational principles will be fostered and nurtured in the hearts of all those who will enter this institution.

We appreciate the tireless effort of Sr. Mary Sandhya and the team members in bringing about this institution for transformation and change in society.
